Health Care Policy

The focus of the concentration in Health Care Policy is on the institutions for financing and delivering medical care. Students study a variety of systems for providing medical care, the social and economic factors that shape those systems, the determinants and consequences of health care policies, and the special problems of evaluating policies intended to alleviate human suffering and to extend life.
