Roshan Shankar

Roshan Shankar is Advisor to the Government of NCT of Delhi and convenes the Technology and Innovation Working Group in the Health Department during the Covid-19 crisis. He works on key issues and special projects in climate action, urban governance, public health, technology, and innovation. He also works as a consultant to startups and media production houses working in sustainability, new media, and digital communication. 

Previously, he led the team that drafted the manifesto for the Aam Aadmi Party for the Delhi State Elections 2015 under "Delhi Dialogue", a consultative, citizen-centric, participatory, and progressive political manifesto for the Aam Aadmi Party. He holds a joint Masters degree in Engineering and Public Policy from Stanford University, whose projects led him to work closely with the US Government Accountability Office, MIT Jameel Poverty Action Lab, Stanford's Center for International Development and has been research assistant to former US Secretary of Defense William J. Perry. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Delhi.
