Sophia Ginez is a senior double majoring in Economics and Public Policy, with a concentration in International Policies and National Security. Sophia is currently working on her Senior Practicum Project for the City of Cupertino, helping the government to develop and implement a meaningful performance measurement system. She is a middle-distance runner on the Stanford Cross Country and Track teams, which keeps her busy competing all year-round. When she's not running, Sophia serves as Vice President of the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES), directing the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp Team. In this role, Sophia leads a team to design, plan, and run a multi-day entrepreneurship conference for student entrepreneurs from around the world. Sophia has explored a variety of career options in major-related fields, ranging from political science research with Professor Gary Segura to the work in the financial services industry. She plans to work for a Bay Area firm upon graduation for a few years before potentially pursuing an MBA.
