Rebecca Smalbach

Rebecca Smalbach is currently a sophomore majoring in Public Policy and minoring in Economics and History. On campus, she is Head of Community Development for Stanford Women in Politics, and a copy editor for both the Stanford Daily, and the Stanford Political Magazine, a non-partisan political journal. She is a Teaching Assistant for PUBLPOL 154: Politics and Policy in California, and has also been a Research Assistant for history professor Rowan Dorin, working on archiving medieval manuscripts. Her main interests lie in the realm of education policy, and she has previously worked for Congressman Jared Huffman, California State Assemblyman Marc Levine, the Office of Community Education in the Tamalpais School District, and the Corte Madera Town Council.
