Student Voices

Joseph graduated with a concentration in Law and the Legal System. In addition to his studies, Joseph was the Financial Officer of the Stanford Powwow. Joseph interned at Nike, Inc.
Andrew is a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Health Care Policy. He is interested in new models to pay for health care as well as understanding health disparities.
Having completed an MA in Education (Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies) in 2019, Chloe is now on the cusp of completing her MA in Public Policy. With a background primarily rooted in education, Chloe has enjoyed expanding her econometric experience, statistics skills, and research toolkit within the Public Policy Program.
Joyce is in her second year at Stanford, having completed a MA in Education (Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies) from the Graduate School of Education in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing a MA in Public Policy.
Kim is a joint Ph.D. and MPP candidate who hails from San Diego, California. She is currently in her 4th year as a doctoral student at Stanford’s Sociology department. Her main policy interests lie in social and anti-poverty policy, and in particular how these impact immigrant integration in the US.
Hernán is currently pursuing a Master in Public Policy and a Master in Management Science and Engineering.
Jordan is a senior majoring in Public Policy with a concentration in Law and the Legal System. She is interested in the intersection of law and social justice and is grateful to the Public Policy program for supporting her interests.
Sheetal graduated as MSx Sloan Fellow from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2018 and is currently working on her MA in Public Policy.
My name is Garrett Jensen and I am a second year POLS/MPP student. Originally from Portland, Oregon, food trucks, coffee shops and nature are in my DNA.
Diana is an M.P.P. candidate with a concentration in health policy and holds a B.S. from Stanford. With the Public Policy department's support, Diana has received two summer fellowships to work at the Asian Prisoner Support Committee and China's first National Cord Blood Bank in Beijing.
